Fishing and rafting on Sopochnaya River

Description:
Transfer is fulfilled by car to Esso settlement (6-8 hours), from Esso to the river - by helicopter (approximately 1,5 hours one way). Rafting is on the 16-feet rafts of high quality.
Sopochnaya River, the length of which is nearly 180 km, is located in the north – western part of Kamchatka, in Tigilsky district, on western coast. It is inaccessible river and one of the most interesting for fishing. Total dimension of rafting is nearly 80 km, it passes along untouched nature. There are a lot of comfortable for fishing places, with deep and broad holes. Fishing is from coast or rafts. The fishing season begins in the middle of June and lasts till middle of July, you can catch king salmon. Also you can catch chum salmon, Kamchatka steelhead, East Siberian char, loach. The main target in July is chum salmon, from august to November - coho salmon, the population of which is si great that you can catch more than 50 pieces, its weight is from 4 to 6 kg. In September – Nover you can fish coho salmon and rarely - Atlantic salmon.
Itinerary:
Day 1. Arrival in airport. Transfer to Esso (550 km), on the way we drive to the shops. Lunch in Milkovo settlement. Accommodation at the hotel. Rest, swimming at the thermal pool.
Day 2. Transfer by the helicopter to the river (1,5 hours), preparations for rafting, start of fishing. Overnight at tents.
Days 3 - 7. Fishing and rafting. Overnight at tents. Rafting is for 2-3 day, then fishing from stationary camp.
Day 8. Flight to Esso (1,5 hours). Transfer by car to the city, accommodation at the resort in recreational zone Paratunka, rest, swimming at thermal pool.
День 9. Free (reserve) day. It is possible to organize excursions (paid extra):
- Sea fishing in Avacha Bay
- Excursion to the Valley of Geysers

Day 10. Visit of fish market. Transfer to the airport.
